Redfern's new help points

If this question has been asked before (and answered), I apologise:

Why did Redfern (platform 4) receive a help point right next to the
doorway of the control room?  Platform 6 has now been wired up
similarly but has not received the help point.

Could this be a long-term objective of closing the control rooms on
Redfern's platforms or is it simply a trial unit (like everything
lately on CityRail)???
