Both vehicles are a bright orange with two wide black horizontal stripes and a
large A.S.R. logo. The carraige also carries the words "Australia Southern
Railroad" on the letterboard. They look very american and make a major change
to what I'm use to seeing.
Looking at the carriage, I'm finding it hard to accept it's the same car that
AN used regularly and had painted that revolting grey colour scheme. For those
of you who don't know, EI84 is one of the German built Wegmann round ended
sleeper lounge cars that were used on the Trans-Australian in the 1950s.
Car and truck drivers shouldn't have too many problems seeing the train coming.
