Metcard Adds

In the Paper today and yesterday there are Matcard Adds. Mondays Said
all about the Buy, Validate, Travel system, But Where they had Validate
they had written "Remember you must validate your metcard before EVERY trip
and when entering EVERY tram or Bus on your journey."

Does that mean I don;t have to Validate my ticket when leaving a station?

I ask a Metperson what rule 206 was since no-one here knew, and he said
"If the PTC provide Validators then you MUST validate you ticket" He didn't
know what happens (ie penlity) if you don't. I would still like someone to
check this rule for me, and if possible to find out what the penlity is.

The second add said that you can now buy Short Trip 10 Metcards for use
in Zone 1 trams and Buses.
