Canberra Fuel train motive power

To all who are interested.

I spotted an interesting combination of motive power at Kingston (ACT) today.

Pulling the (empty) fuel tankers out of Canberra, was an 82 (leading), a 48,
and a 422.

All in freight rail blue, I didn't record the numbers as I was busy taking
photos.

Does anyone know if they came into Canberra in the same fashion? Where the 48
and 422 live or dead attached?
