The Dandenong Rd work was not completed in just one weekend. On Tues.3.6
evening, workers were welding something (joints?). The Barclay-Mowlem
hopper wagon is fascinating. It was built by Goninan, but has antique
running gear (wooden headstocks, buffers, spoke wheels). It is coded
KI1065, and was sitting adjacent to the tracks on a closed-off cross
road. This gives the impression that another major section will be done
over the coming weekend.
