The wagon is used by Barclay Mowlem, and was in use in Dandenong Rd 
tram-track relaying in May (June 97 RNV p33).  The running gear is 
antique: wooden headstocks, a hook for a three-link coupler, spoked 
wheels, no airbrake.  My guess is that the hopper (which is metal) is 
new, built on an underframe retrieved from coal haulage.  The vehicle has 
buffers, but I can't recall if they were dumb ones.
